Maw Goose was a vibrant, family-friendly Scottish pantomime. Ms Goose is being threatened with eviction from her Dance Academy for not paying Panto Tax to the evil landlady Narcissa, who is also planning to steal and eat their family's beloved Lucy the Goosey for Christmas dinner. Featuring highly local references (I learned a lot about Falkirk doing this show) and new lyrical arrangements for chart-topping songs, this show practically sold-out all 472 seats twice per day for the entirety of December and into the first week of January.
Equipment
20 RF mics for a cast of 6 leads and 14 for the two weekly rotating junior casts. All EQ/compression requirements were programmed per cast member, and loaded from saved scenes within the SoundCraft Vi1 mixing desk via MIDI Program Changes triggered by QLab. All backing tracks also cued with QLab, live vocal mixing was done line-by-line following a script.
